🛡️ Warranty Policy
This Warranty Policy explains how warranty coverage applies to the equipment sold by us as a reseller.
Please read the information below carefully, as it clarifies who provides the warranty and how warranty support is handled.
1. Reseller Status
We act solely as a commercial intermediary / reseller for the equipment offered for sale.
All equipment is covered exclusively by the official manufacturer’s international warranty, provided through the authorized dealer network.
2. Manufacturer’s Warranty
The warranty is provided by Manitou International and is administered through Manitou’s authorized dealers and certified service centers, in accordance with the manufacturer’s official warranty terms and conditions.
Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, maintenance requirements, and the warranty procedure are defined by the manufacturer and may vary depending on the model, configuration, and destination market.
3. Buyer Responsibility for Warranty Claims
The buyer is responsible for activating, maintaining, and exercising warranty rights in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.
Any warranty request (inspection, repair, parts replacement, technical support) must be handled directly through:
- an authorized Manitou dealer, or
- a certified Manitou service center
- in the country where the equipment is operated.
As a reseller, we may assist with general guidance and documentation sharing when possible, but warranty approval and technical decisions remain solely with the manufacturer and its authorized network.
4. European Legal Framework & Buyer Protection
The equipment is placed on the EU market under applicable conformity and safety requirements, and buyers benefit from protections available under EU rules (where applicable).
Relevant EU legislation includes, for example:
- Directive (EU) 2019/771 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods (applicable to consumer sales within the EU)
- Other applicable EU rules on product safety, conformity, and consumer protection, depending on the transaction type and destination market
This framework supports buyer protection by ensuring that goods sold within the European Union meet applicable requirements and that statutory rights (where applicable) can be exercised in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
5. Documentation
The equipment is delivered with documentation required for lawful operation and traceability, which may include:
- Certificate of Conformity (where applicable)
- User and maintenance documentation
- Serial identification / traceability information
For warranty-related assistance, please contact an authorized Manitou dealer/service center in your country.
